Web Navigation

Enable web search in conversations with 8+ search providers and privacy-first mode.

What It Enables

When Online Navigation is turned on, your AI agents can:

  • Search the web for current information
  • Fetch web page content for analysis
  • Include sources in responses (shown as source cards with favicons)

This is useful when you need up-to-date information, documentation lookups, or real-time data.

Enabling Web Navigation

Settings > Web Navigation > Online Navigation > ON

Privacy-First Mode

When Privacy-First is enabled, Vocoding prioritizes privacy-respecting search providers (SearXNG, DuckDuckGo) over commercial ones.

  4. Click Save.
  5. The status badge turns green when active.

  2. Provider availability.
  3. Provider speed and reliability.

DuckDuckGo is always available as the final fallback.
